In view of the country lockdown for 21 days amid COVID-19 announced by the PM last night, The Supreme Court has adjourned all cases that were listed before the Court for hearing on March 25.
In order to hear the cases of extreme urgency two Division Benches of Justices DY Chandrachud with Justice Surya Kant and another comprising Justices L Nageswara Rao and Aniruddha Bose are scheduled to assemble today.
In the wake of the 21-day lockdown invoked due to COVID-19 outbreak the Court will be hearing urgent matters via video conferencing and has adjourned, without giving the next date of hearing, all matters listed before it on March 25.
